This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic nonprofit rescue. You will work closely with a well-connected and committed Board of Directors, a visionary founder who is ready to hand over the reins to a new leader, along with a dedicated staff and a passionate team of volunteers, to expand their lifesaving work. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's consistent achievement of its mission. This includes leading and managing the team, ensuring sound planning, fundraising, implementation of best practices, and the delivery of quality services and animal care. The primary focus is to achieve lifesaving goals and meet fundraising objectives to ensure the organization’s sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for and a deep commitment to the mission of FieldHaven, and substantial experience that includes demonstrated past successes in leadership and fundraising, preferably in the animal welfare industry.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

They are located on a stunning 10-acre horse ranch in beautiful rural Lincoln, California. As their high-quantity and quality spay/neuter clinic expands, they are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join them in making a difference. The position is full-time with a blend of on-site and remote work. The RVT is primarily responsible for the professional, sanitary, and efficient operation of FieldHaven’s Hathaway Spay & Neuter Clinic and the Kitten Sitter Program. This position assists veterinarians in the primary care and treatment of pre-op and postoperative surgery feline patients. The RVT maintains all procedures and practices with the Spay Neuter Clinic to meet the highest standards possible. The RVT on duty is expected to provide excellent patient care and safety standards while training and encouraging other team members to provide the same high quality of care. Requirements include a current California Registered Veterinary Technician License.
