Consider joining Good Home Pet Adoptions, a small yet impactful cat rescue organization in Central Brooklyn, New York! They focus on street cats, the organizations and individuals who provide and care for them, and a small number of families who need to rehome or give up a pet. They're foster-based, and they host a free-roaming cat adoption room which not only enables them to successfully find homes for adoptable cats but acts as a hub for direct community engagement and provides opportunities to educate visitors about proper cat care. This public space also facilitates partnerships with people who share their love of animals and concern for their wellbeing. Good Home Pet Adoptions was incorporated as a nonprofit in 2018 and is currently conducting a search for individuals to serve on the board of directors.
