Job Postings - June's Senior Cat Rescue

Volunteer Board Member

Calling all cat lovers! Do you have enthusiasm for helping others and making a difference in your community? Is creating a future for senior pets something that excites you? Check out this fantastic opportunity!

June’s Senior Cat Rescue (JSCR) has been around for about 10 years, yet the senior cats in Albuquerque and surrounding areas need more. JSCR wants to prevent senior cats from entering shelters when their owner passes, transfer them from local shelters to their new facility, and provide comfort to their owners in their last days knowing that their cat will be safe with JSCR when the time comes. The best way to do this is by building a feline retirement home and increasing capacity for cats in need. Growth is on the horizon!

JSCR provides an essential safety net for senior cats and right now, they’re accepting applications for new board members! Their most exciting project? Growing the organization by opening that facility for homeless senior cats! This can only be done with enthusiastic board members who will help them reach their goals, and right now, YOU could be part of that! Meetings are virtual, once a month, and JSCR has an excited team behind the mission. The board will help take the mission to the next step.
