Operations Manager 

Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (LVVHS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established according to Nevada laws for public benefit. It is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals. Their primary emphasis is on stray and abandoned animals, reducing animal overpopulation primarily through their trap-vaccinate-neuter-and-return to caretaker program for feral cats (the largest overpopulation problem) at no cost to the caretaker. The Operations Manager is responsible for the general operations of LVVHS, including making sure the office runs smoothly and managing the organization’s programs to be sure that they operate effectively and efficiently to maximize results and accomplish goals. The position also supports the board of directors in fundraising and outreach efforts. This is a leadership position that reports directly to the board of directors.

Volunteer Board Member

The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society's Nominating Committee is conducting a search for individuals to serve on the board of directors. The LVVHS’s primary emphasis is on stray and abandoned animals. Part of our efforts is to reduce animal overpopulation primarily through our trap-vaccinate-neuter-and-return-to-caretaker program for feral cats (the largest overpopulation problem) at no cost to the caretaker. LVVHS also supports spay/neuter services for both dogs and cats for people needing some assistance (or having a complete inability to pay) as well as abandoned animals as part of their adoption program.
